The 1st International Symposium on Chemical Ecology was successfully held in Guiyang, Guizhou Province.

The "1st International Symposium on Chemical Ecology (Guizhou, China)" was held in Guiyang, Guizhou Province from August 30 to September 1, 2025. Hosted by Guizhou University and organized by the National Key Laboratory of Green Pesticides and the Chemical Ecology Professional Committee of the Ecological Society of China, the symposium aimed to build an academic exchange platform integrating multiple disciplines and international perspectives. It focused on discussing the innovative integration of intelligent technology and chemical ecology, enhancing Guizhou University's international academic influence in the field, and promoting local green agricultural pest management and environmental protection efforts.

Co-organized by Professor Zhou Jingjiang from Guizhou University and Professor Toby Bruce from Keele University in the UK, the symposium featured fourteen internationally renowned chemical ecologists from various countries. Nearly 100 experts, scholars, and researchers from domestic universities and research institutions also attended the event.
