On May 27, 2024, Professor Toby Bruce, the esteemed editor in chief of the journal Physiological Entomology and co-editor of the Yearbook of Applied Biology, visited the National Key Laboratory of Green Pesticides for an international academic exchange. During his visit, he delivered an engaging lecture titled “Innovation in plant protection to reduce dependency on pesticides”, captivating the audience with his innovative ideas for sustainable agriculture and plant preservation.

After giving a lecture, Professor Bruce engaged in detailed discussions with young core members of the center to explore potential future collaborations. Both parties expressed a strong desire to establish a formal partnership and implement student exchange programs to enhance academic exchanges between Guizhou University and Keele University in the UK.
