Profile
The research of Shengkun’s Lab (SKLab) is inspired by the coenzyme Q pathway in electron-transport chain and the related natural regulators, leading to prominent pesticide innovations. Professor Li’s team has discovered β-heteroarylamines and drimane meroterpenoids for development of novel pesticides. They have also established the biomimetic design and XArOx and ArXOx models for founding of novel catalysts, facilitating precise construction and modular optimization of leads or drugs. Based on the aforementioned achievements, Shengkun has received numerous awards, including Yangtze River Scholar (young professor), High-level Talents of Nanjing, Hong Kong Scholarship, Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Shaanxi Province, ACS Membership Award, etc.
