Profile
Heng Zhang is a professor at the State Key Laboratory of Green Pesticides and State-Local Joint Laboratoryfor Comprehensive Utilization of Biomass of Guizhou University. His research focuses on the controllable preparation of functional catalytic materials for heterogeneous thermal/photo/electro catalysis mainly in agricultural and forestry biomass valorization, particularly in development of biofuels and value-added chemicals, and materials from forestry/agricultural residues and biowastes for pesticide pollution remediation. He has published more than 100 papers in those fields (H-index: 31).He received the Guizhou Provincial Natural Science Award (first prize). Currently, he is an Editorial BoardMember of several international journals.
