Profile
Song is a national distinguished professor of pesticide science. He is a deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Green Pesticide and Key Laboratory of Green Pesticides of Ministry of Education, and the director of Centre for R&D of Fine Chemicals of Guizhou University. His current research includes green pesticide discovery, molecular target identification of pesticides, fluorescent sensing of bioactive molecules, nano-based smart pesticide innovation, and bioenergy research. He has authored over 50 patents and more than 300 scientific papers in international journals (H-index: 58). He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Current Catalysis, and Associate Editor of Current Nanoscience. He has received multiple awards and honors, including the China Young Scientist Award in 2013, Distinguished Professor of the Cheung Kong Scholars Program in 2013, and China National “Ten-Thousand-Talent Plan” in 2016.
