Profile
Professor Hao is a recipient of the National Science Foundation of China for Distinguished Young Scholars and a chief scientist of national key research and development projects. He was also selected into the Cheung Kong Scholars Award Program for young scholars by the Ministry of Education. Through pesticide informatics, he has studied the critical scientific issues on interactions between biomolecules and pesticides in pesticide innovation. He established the world's first systematic pesticide informatics platform, which has successively contributed to the development of seven new pesticides and attracted nearly 8,000 users from over 100 countries (as of January 2023). In the past five years, as a corresponding author, he has published over 20 papers in Adv. Sci., Trends Plant Sci., Trends Biotechnol., Nucleic Acids Res., Sci. Bull., Brief. Bioinform., Chem. Sci., Green Chem.
