Profile
Professor He works on insect chemical ecology and green pesticides. His research and work dominantly focus on the chemosensory mechanisms of pests at peripheral level such as rice planthoppers, moths, and cockroaches and further exploration of pest attractants, repellents and disruptors. He investigates development of RNAi or gene knockout biopesticides based on nanomaterial carriers and efficacy lethal gene targets. His research has been supported by numerous national and provincial grants. He also has served on editorial boards of some renowned scientific journals and several committees in China. He has published more than 60 scientific works. He has supervised undergraduate and Master’s students in these fields, and his master's students have received national scholarships multiple times.
