Profile

Professor Xue Wei is an esteemed scholar in the domain of fine chemical engineering, with a distinguished reputation for his contributions to green drug design and synthesis, as well as the innovative development of new pesticides from natural sources. His pioneering work has significantly propelled the field of pesticide science forward, enhancing both the efficacy and safety of pesticides while simultaneously promoting environmental sustainability and ecological balance. Steering the projects of pivotal projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Professor Xue has taken the lead in research initiatives that delve into the intricate design, synthesis, and biological activity of chalcone and myricetin derivatives.
