Profile
Libo Zhang’s research focuses on the design and synthesis of oligosaccharides, peptides, and their assemblies for green pesticide discovery using principles and methods of enzymatic engineering, protein and material assembly, and synthetic biology. In 2022, he was supported by the National High-Level Youth Talents Overseas Excellent Young Program. He has served on editorial board of Journal of Plant Protection and review editor of Frontiers in Chemical Biology since 2023. He has published over 30 research papers in journals such as Carbohydr. Polym, JACS, Bioresour. Technol., JACS Au, Mater. Sci. Eng. C,ACS Sustain. Chem. Eng.
