 Dr. Kim Hoelmer, a senior scientist at the USDA ARS Beneficial Insects Introduction Research Unit visit our laboratory. Dr. Kim Hoelmer presented a detailed overview of the United States' approach to invasive pest control using classical biological control methods to the faculty and students of Guizhou University on December 11th, 2023. The presentation, titled The current status of classical biological control in the United States, covered the process, achievements, challenges, and future directions of this method. The report was well-received and has significantly enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing in the field of biological control between China and the United States.
